USF Students Solve Environmental Challenges
Students present research results yearly for the Dean of the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. Currently that research includes addressing environmental challenges in multiple regions of the world.
Acting Dean Jeff Paris showcased the student’s work during the College of Arts and Sciences this academic year evening reception February 28th. At USF the curriculum is designed to incorporate research and other forms of experiential learning. This allows students to work alongside their faculty mentors to conduct research projects, administer surveys, and engage in other creative endeavors. This event yearly provides all the opportunity to see and hear about these various projects. The showcase features incredible work from both current undergraduate and graduate students of the University of San Francisco.
I had the pleasure to speak with many of the researchers and hear first hand how they are having a positive impact on solving society’s environmental challenges. Watch my interviews and their presentations below.
