AGING PROBLEM

Aging is a global dilemma. The World Health Organization projects that over the next 20 to 30 years, elderly populations in developed countries will increase by 30 to 140%, and in developing countries this bracket will grow by 200 to 400%. WHO further states that there is neither worldwide public policy nor sufficient resource allocation to provide for the medical, social, and economic needs of a rapidly expanding group of older citizens.
